The seed planting system further contains a seed deflector coupled to the seed storage tank directly over the flow path, where the seed deflector guides the seeds from the seed storage tank into the flow path at an angle relative to a vertical axis of the flow path.

\n The present disclosure relates generally to seed planting systems and, more particularly, to seed distribution in the seed planting procedure.

\n Generally, a seed planting system is used to deposit seeds to soil. For instance, from the seed planting system, an agricultural employ may include numerous rows of floor engaging opener assemblies that excavate trenches to the ground. Theground engaging opener assemblies can then deposit seeds to the excavated trenches. In this manner, rows of seeds may be planted into the ground.

\n To ease the deposition of seeds, the seeds might be dispersed to each of the ground engaging opener assemblies from a centralized storage location, like a seed storage tank. More especially, a seed meter might be used to restrain theseed distribution to each of the ground engaging opener assemblies from the centralized storage location. In other words, the storage tank may supply seeds into the seed tube for distribution. Therefore, seed distribution could be undesirable when theflow of seeds from the storage tank to the seed meter is obstructed, for example, by clumped seeds.
